After four decades as a top-tier advertising and graphic design professional, Dick Mitchell transitioned to painting in earnest in 2017. He is a two time gold medalist with The New York Art Directors Club. He served as a judge for Communication Arts Design Annual and the American Institute of Graphic Arts Annual. Dick was a 2011 American Paint Horse Association Reserve World Champion in Reining. He and his wife live in Plano, Texas.
